Yes, White Bay make different beers but over the years lager and the brewery have gone hand in glove. They launched with a focus on the style, and their core range Lager was even declared Champion Beer at The Indies in 2022. In 2025, they’ve expanded their lineup of bottom-fermented offerings with Super Dry, a Japanese-style lager.
At 4.5 percent ABV, this core range release is lean with a crisp, ultra-dry finish, yet still carries a delicate malt character akin to dry crackers. Pouring with absolute clarity, it delivers a touch of spice from its Wai-iti and Pacifica hops, along with a soft but building bitterness.
