At White Bay Brewery, lager isn’t just part of what we do - it’s the foundation.

From day one, we’ve been dedicated to brewing clean, precise, and expressive lagers, alongside a wide range of beers that showcase balance, flavour, and care. From hop-forward hazies to malt-driven dark styles, every release is brewed with the same precision and purpose.

Every beer starts with the same question: how can we make this great?

Our core range Lager claimed Champion Independent Beer at the 2022 Independent Beer Awards, and we’ve earned a loyal following for refined takes on traditional European styles, like our Czech-style Pilsner. While lagers are our signature, we also brew a rotating lineup of limited releases, always driven by flavour, balance, and quality.

White Bay began in a heritage-listed steel mill on the edge of Sydney Harbour. In the years since, our focus on brewing hasn’t wavered and our beers can be found far and wide - in great venues, restaurants, and bottleshops across Sydney and beyond.

In 2024, we unveiled a fresh new look and proudly partnered with the Sydney Swans as their official beer. The following year, we merged with Hawkers Beer to form Social Drinks - bringing together two independent breweries, broadening our reach, and strengthening our commitment to craft.

At our core, we’re still doing what we set out to do from the start: brew honest, great-tasting beer that brings people together.
