They’re playing a bit of 'brew it and they will come' at White Bay Brewery with Jumping The Gun, a summer amber released a couple of months early. But watch as the sun hits the glistening glow of the golden-copper beer and you can’t help but think, as long as the sun’s shining, this is the kind of beer that’ll be appealing in a pint.

The amber lager was dry-hopped with Citra and El Dorado and brings a mix of tropical, citrus and gently sweet notes, with soft biscuit and nutty characters leaping forward. Beyond those new-world hop notes, there’s also a touch of the UK’s pubs, with a gentle spice and fruitiness akin to what you'd find in an ESB, gently appearing as the beer warms.
